Bit of News from the Doctor
Well, today I heard from the doctor regarding the ENG balance test I took yesterday. Basically, he thinks that it is just a pernicious version of viral lab. that has just been hanging on. He said I can take two courses of action at this point …
One is to wait it out. Since I am feeling much better today, I suspect that this is what I am going to do. The other is to go to another doctor at the ENT clinic and undergo some kind of therapy session that is designed to, essentially, make you as dizzy as you have been.
This is apparently supposed to make you get over it quicker. I can believe it, since the ENG test I went through yesterday almost sent me over the edge a couple of times, but then later I felt great! It was the strangest thing.
Hopefully, I’m getting to the end of this dizzy little chapter of my life. It has certainly been a memorable summer. It think it will be known as the summer of doctors.
I also went to see the eye doctor yesterday to get a routine eye exam, something I haven’t done in over 25 years. I haven’t had any trouble seeing or anything, but I thought that as long as I was getting EVERYTHING checked out, I should go ahead and do that. It turns out that I have PERFECT vision. Man, at least something on my is working properly.
