Another Doctor Visit
Went to the doctor again yesterday. Wahoo.
Sunday night was just miserable. I had some serious anxiety and couldn’t go to sleep. I suspect it was partially due to the lack of sleep the previous day.
But by Monday I was just a wreck.
I called the doctor during the day to explain everything that had happened over the weekend and they told me that I needed to come in on Tuesday.
When I saw the doctor at my appointment, I explained (again) everything that had happened, and also told him about all the other weird symptoms that I have been having: fairly regular diarrhea, muscle cramps in my thighs, arms, neck, jaw and hands, tingling fingers, face and feet, shooting headache-pains, etc., not to mention the dang sinus infection I had developed.
So, he started by putting me on two antibiotics (Cipro and something else that carries lots of warnings about NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICINE!), took blood and some other stuff.
Then, on Wednesday, I woke up and could hardly stand on my legs! They were so incredibly weak, that I just kind of staggered around when I moved around the house. Needless to say, I stayed home.
I’m feeling a bit better this evening and hopefully a good night’s sleep will improve things a bit.
I know that God is in control. I know that His plan is good. I’m just going to have to try to continue moving through this as best I can.
