Well, so far the SpamAssassinator service I created using the ActiveState PDK is working well. We’ve had some problems with our primary MX server (which is running through Brightmail) and the backup running SA took a pretty big hit, but kept up pretty well.
Things have slowed down pretty much, now, since our Brightmail service is using several more MX servers now. The stats are still being maintained on my Spam Stats page, and I’ve added a couple of things to it, including attachment blocking based on expected filenames of the attachments. We had a virus breakout earlier this year and we don’t want to do that again!
