Beating the odds

I’ve always been told that Penny and I are beating the odds, since we were high-school sweethearts and have now been happily married for nearly 19 years, with 5 kids to boot! We certainly have been very blessed. So blessed, in fact, that we felt called to convert our marriage to a covenant marriage. Arkansas is one of three states that offer this type of marriage commitment, which goes much deeper than a regular one.

We are also planning on attending the Celebration of Marriage at Alltel Arena this Valentine’s Day. While neither one of us is a great fan of huge crowds, we both wanted to show our support for strong marriages.
