Here comes the school year …

School is gonna begin tomorrow for my kids. They are homeschooled.

Each fall, we work hard to get geared up for the new year. It takes lots and lots of planning to organize the curriculum and schedule (my wife’s job) and the finances (my job.) So far this year we have had to spend around $300 on curriculum.

Since we graduated our oldest last year, it seems that we can really follow through this thing to the end. As hard as it has been (and, boy, it has been hard at times) it has been worth it, I believe.

I am just so proud of my wife for working so diligently this year on getting prepared. It has taken hours and hours of planning, but it will be worth it. History, Algebra, Geometry, Writing and Grammar, Spelling, Science … four grades … sheesh. You go girl!
